How does the application process work?
- Submit an application online via the link below. If online access is an issue, a printable version is available.
- Once an application is received, the individual will be contacted by the Fire Chief to schedule a physical agility test and interview. The physical agility test is a list of tasks to be completed within a certain time frame. These tasks are: Hose drag, stair climb, tool raise and axe swing.
- Upon successful completion of the interview and physical agility, the applicant will receive a packet to be completed in order to be added to the roster. This packet includes a pre-employment drug screen, background check and doctor's physical.
- When the application process is complete, the potential member will be added to the roster and will begin the probationary period. This period allows for the new recruit to complete a task book that will provide them with the skills needed to fill the role of firefighter.
